Double double toil and trouble-Fire burn and caldron bubble.
I'm continuing the posts of my Halloween cards, and I am trying to put more than one card per post. 20 Halloween cards is a LOT!
Here are are 2 beautiful witch cards that I made!!
Here is a sneak peek, click below to see the full pics.
Hello...Zombie?! Hello Kitty...Zombies!!
2 more of my 20 Halloween cards!!
I don't much like "Hello Kitty". I mean, she is REALLY over utilized. In the last few months, I've seen Hello Kitty blenders, microwaves, laptops, hair dryers, curling irons, and even Hello Kitty SHOES.
But, I do have a few friends who really adore her. I mean, when I was a teenager, I was all about how adorable she was, but I've just totally outgrown her, I guess because I see her EVERYWHERE!
anyhow, I made my friend Denise and my Auntie Erica a Hello Kitty ZOMBIE card for Halloween. I do think she is absolutely adorable...as a zombie! LOL

It's been a while! but a fun project was done!
Hey friends! I know it's been a while since I last blogged, but things have been SO hectic around here!! We got the floors done in our living room and hallway by a friend of ours, and that had our house all messed up for a week.
Then, this last week a friend and I tore out the carpet in my craft room and did the floor in there. I had surgery 2 days after that so I've been down since last friday and my recovery is going to be a LONG one.
So, I've not been doing much, but I'm hoping this weekend I'll be able to get stuff out of the closet where I stacked it all, and get it all put away and sorted. I am going to ask hubby to help me move the stuff out of the closet and set it on the floor or my table. that room looks like a whole new room! I'm super excited to get it all finished.
but, before my surgery, I got a bunch of tim holtz alcohol inks. I've never used them before, and i was SO anxious to try them! so, I decided to dye some skittles (or dew drops as some call them). I had a BLAST!
I used 14 different colors and dyed 20 skittles of each color. they came out REALLY good. the only 2 colors that I'm not pleased with are the gold and silver from the metallic mixatives set. I can see where the color didn't fully coat (even though i did 2 coats of each color) and you can see small scrapes of the color come off. But, it's handmade, it isn't meant to be perfect!

Birthday, Butterflies and Bubbles!
Howdy. :) It was recently BFF Leslie's daughters birthday. She turned 4. Kids are so great at that age! so imaginative and playful! I made her this adorable card! :)
It has butterflies and lots of gems, skittles and pearls, what I interpreted to be bubbles!
I hope you like, click the link below to expose more pics! :)

Halloween Image Challenge!
In one of my swap groups those who chose to participate were all sent the same images... our challenge was to create a card, a layout, or some other altered, handcrafted item. I created a card. Though I did not win, this challenge was a lot of fun.
We were given the 4 images I used on my cards... we didn't have to use them all; however, we did have to use at least the mummy.
Here is the card I created!

A few quick thanks...
I needed some thank you cards, so I figured I'd just whip up some quick ones with a "thanks" sticker.
These turned out cute and were quick to make, about 5 minutes each including cutting the paper. :)

A card... "for you".
Hello friendly followers! It's been a little while since I last posted. My last few cards were "mimi" cards by using penny black images. This card is too! I actually made this card the same night (world card making day) that I made the others but I was so tired by the time I finished it that I just went to bed and didn't even post. I totally forgot until tonight when I was editing some pics and resizing some things.
Anyhow, here she is, a "for you" card...

Some of my cards
So, I know, it's long overdue that I show my friendly followers some of my work! I swear I've been trying to get stuff up on here, but life just keeps getting in the way!
Anyhow, I figured since I had a little bit of time today I would sit and upload some things to show you that I've done. :)
In this post I'll stick specifically to CARDS. I'll throw some of my scrapbook pages and paper bag albums up later in a different post.
I don't have a lot of time right now, so I'm just putting up a few things, but you'll get the general idea that I know how to make some cards (though I have to say my paper bag albums and scrapbook pages are WAY better! lol)
Some of these cards are more recent, except for the ATC greeting cards I made, which were done in 2009. I haven't made more of those types yet, but I should. hmmmmm something to do next month? ;)
I won't put the recipes for each card since I'm including so many cards in one post, but if you want to know what each card is made from, just let me know and I'll post a reply with the info. :)
Some of the pics really don't do the cards justice. I used something glittery or shiny on almost all cards, but my scanner isn't working all the time so I'm having to resort to taking pics. My lighting isn't the best for that either! haha.
So, here we go.... (Click READ MORE below)
