Flowers for Friendship

A friend of mine has a daughter almost in her teens, and she loves flowers, coloring and art. So I thought I'd give her a card that I made along with a bunch of stamped images for her to color and I thought it would inspire her to do some art and card making of her own. she had a blast coloring the images...when she was done, she taped them to her bedroom wall. I guess that makes for good inspiration.

Anyhow, here is the card I made...
I colored the flowers with my prismacolored pencils and blended with gamsol (which I've recently learned that you can layer prismacolored pencils without blending them...I've got to give that a try).
I'm not sure who makes the flower image, a friend sent it to me in a bunch of images she sent me. It was fun to color!

I colored the flowers and cut them out with spellbinders die and matted it on a scalloped circle. Behind the circle I stuffed some blue tulle . It looks SO pretty. In the right corner I put some gems and across the middle of the card I put some matching cardstock with hearts on it. I also added some white ribbon and tied it in a knot. It's hard to tell, but there is stickles in the middle of each flower as well.

I hope you like this card as much as the recipient did. Please continue to check back for more of my projects.
