Hello, Crabby!

I have this Studio G stamp with a crab. It's really cute when stamped out so I thought I'd make a card for it. I had no clue what type of sentiment to use with it so I just went with "Hello" the card came together so well, I'm very happy with it!

So, I started with the crab itself. I stamped it in pink on white cardstock and then I cut the purple mat to put it on.
Then I picked all my papers (do most people do that? stamp and then pick paper? I usually pick my paper first but didn't this time. weird!)
I inked around the white cardstock so it kinda of popped to match the "hello" sentiment color.

Since there is no die one size larger than the sentiment, I put it on paper and traced around it leaving room and then cut it out and layered it. I did that with the stripped pink behind it as well.  I think I did a pretty good job. I'll have to try that more often because I usually have items I wish had a die or punch above the size but there isn't one.

So, I hope this post made you like the little crab and gave you some inspiration to use your crab stamp, if you haven't found a use for it.

Check back soon, more cards to come!
