Fall and Autumn, 2 cards

 Hi there! Fall and Winter are my 2 favorite seasons of the year. I love Fall most of all. The chill in the air, the beautiful colors of changing leaves, the fog, and the forest of bare trees for miles, I just love it all!

Anyhow, I made 2 fall cards. I don't have a preview so click below. 

Hey! So here's the 1st card...

This was a quick and simple card to make. I had the handmade leaves on hand. I used some jute twine and just cut 4 little strips and taped and glued them to the back of the leaves. Of course, that made the leaves 3D pop off the page quite a bit. It turned out super cute. I know, I know, it's bland. But I wanted it that way so that the leaves were the star of the card. I didn't wanna add too much to it to distract from the leaves.

Quite a few years ago my Mother and I got to play around with alcohol inks. We used foil tape (for it's thickness compared to regular foil) and we inked the tape up in different colors of fall and once it dried (about 5 minutes) we cut the leaves out with the Tim Holtz leaves die. then we crinkled up the leaves ad it made them look super realistic and very beautiful.

Here's the 2nd card I made. I used SU! ink with an Inkadinkado leaf stamp. I stamped them in the colors that leaves start and progress in their changes. A little sentiment and a bow. This was a quick and easy card to make, and I know it made the receiver smile because she loves Fall/Autumn as much as I do!
