I made some sailboat cards for Father's Day for a card order I have received. I don't have pic previews, so click below to see the cards...

Sail Away for your Birthday (2 cards)
I had to make a masculine Birthday card, so I decided to go with a sailboat. I wanted to make an extra one to have on hand, so I made a slightly different card but these are 2 card layouts different than I've ever done. Here are 2 sneak peeks, but you know what you have to do to see the full cards...

Let's sail away!
Hey Hey, hi hi! I'm back with more cards. For this one I replicated it quite a few times to get a good batch of 12 cards! I mean, it is a simple layout and not too much work to do so I take advantage of making some of the simplest cards that are appealing to a wide variety of people.
I mean, I don't like to "sail", but I do like to boat, I'm just scared of sail boats, but I do think they are beautiful masterpieces!
Here's a sneak peek inside, click below for the cards (don't worry I didn't post all 12. LOL)

3 Birthday Cards
My friend and very lovely loyal customer, Rhonda ordered 4 more cards from me last week and needed 2 of them by the end of this week, so I completed those 2 yesterday. I still have 2 more patriotic ones to make, but for now I got her 2 requested b-day cards done, a ladies card and a guys card.
the cool thing about the guys card is that I was able to make 2 "similar" cards with 2 1/2 sheets of cardstock! Well, ok, TECHNICALLY, it was 3 1/2 sheets, BUT, I say 2 1/2 because the 3rd sheet ended up being cut down to scraps because I ripped both halves of TWICE so it was scrapped. so, in the end, the ACTUAL cards were truly made with only 2 1/2 sheets of CS. that would be, 1 sheet of deco for the fronts and inside (it was double sided so I got to use the whole 12x12 sheet, 2 fronts and 2 insides (with opposite side of the cs), and then 1 sheet of plain colored cardstock for the card base, and then half of a sheet of cardstock for the white on the inside! :)
Anyhow, here are the sneak peeks, clickety click click below to see the rest of the images (and SHORT descriptions--I'm trying to get better at doing shorter descriptions so you aren't sitting here all day reading my posts! LOL I'd seriously blabber on all day if I could! haha)
Male B-day 1 (given to Rhonda for her order):
Ladies B-day card (For Rhonda's order)
2nd 'similar' card I made, that I kept for myself to give to someone for their bday (not sure who yet, maybe my daddy, I dunno!)

Brothers Bday! Let's Sail Away--and a running family joke!
My brothers' birthday is coming up on April 2nd. J.J. (Johnny Jr.) is 4 years younger than I am, so I call him my "little, big bro" because, even though he is younger than I am, he is WAY bigger than me. LOL I don't know exactly how tall he is, but I am almost sure he is at least 6 feet tall, and even to me, being 5 foot even, that is TALL. I have to look up to him, lol. it's weird! this year, he will finally hit the big 3-0, I remember when he was 3, such a cute little thing, but boy was he trouble, with a capital T and R and oh never mind, capitalize all the letters! T-R-O-U-B-L-E!! :D but, I love him. We live very far away, across the country from each other, and we only get to see each other when we can both make it home for a holiday, which is very rare! He lives in Montana right now, he moved there for the air force and the traded to the national guard for a better job position that paid more. Now, he has a home of his own and his girlfriend just moved in with him, I am pretty sure they will be getting married at some point... at least I hope so. He deserves a good girl! :)
Well here is his card, a sneak peek, keep reading on behind the clicky link for more pics. :)
