You're on my mind, Friend.
When my friend Mona sent me the Stampin' Up! Upsy Daisy set I was so happy. It's been a very long time since I've got to play with this set, since mine is still in storage clear across the U.S. Maybe one day I'll be reunited with my stuff. :( I miss all my awesome, amazing craft stuff. And plus, it's difficult to have stuff and know it's just sitting there unused, unloved, and so very much wanted! LOL
I have many friends, all of whom are very much loved. So, I used the Upsy Daisy stamp set to make a thinking of you card for a friend of mine. I am sure she will love it as much as I love her. :)

When feeling down play with some flowers!
Life has been SO very busy and just, well, draining for me over the past 2 months. I've not been crafting near as much as I'd like to. My anxiety has taken over my life and made each day very difficult for me to get through without wanting to scream several times a day.
In between my bought's of this anxiety and all of mine and hubby's doctor appointments, I've found "some" time to craft. The card I'm sharing today was a card that I made to give to my Ma.
She liked it a lot, and I'm glad, because it really wasn't my favorite. Some parts of the card I really liked, but the overall end product I wasn't all that happy with. But hey, as long as the recipient is happy, I'm happy.
So, here's a sneak peek, click below to see the rest.

CASED a card, Thinking of You...
I saw a card similar to this set of cards, on Pinterest, and fell in love with it right away, so I saved it and decided to CASE it. now, I know there are many meanings to "CASE" a card, but I like to call it "copy and selectively edit" a card. when doing a scrapbook layout, it's the same thing, but I call that scraplifting. LOL
Anyhow, I did make a few changes to the card, such as the circle the image is in, and I also used a different embossing folder, and I used ink to slightly distress my edges and give them dimension. I also did the ribbon differently, so that it would give the INSIDE of the card a finished look, and I added cardstock to the inside where the message would be written.... so a few subtle differences to my card from the original.
I actually made 2 of these, with different colors and different sentiments on the front...
