Hexagons!!!
Hey there! So, it's simple, Hexagons can be pretty, cool and fun! I had fun making these 12 cards. It took me about 2-1/2 hours to do these, it wasn't easy to keep everything in line and switching back and forth between stamping blocks. But, it was fun mixing things up and getting to play with 2 older stamp sets I have that I'll never get rid of because they're versatile. Now, to come up with more creations with them, hmmm! For now, here's these...

Hexagons of the heart
Before I got my new Mother's Day stamps I just worked on a set of 4 mini cards to be "love" themed on the front, I figured I could add the Mother's Day sentiment to the inside once the stamps got here.
So, here's what I came up with, no preview so you know what to do...

Love for Hubby
This March was mine and hubby's 14 year wedding anniversary, though we've been together for 23 years now. I always make him cards, but this year I was sick and couldn't make him one specifically for our anniversary. But, when I got to feeling better, it was the first card I made for the week.
My hubby never minds if I use flowers on his cards, I had to use them because I didn't have another background hexagon, so he got 2 flowers. LOL
I really like the sentiment I put on the outside...
...but the sentiment inside means so much to me!
Well, Hope this gives you some inspiration for a masculine card (maybe minus the flowers? LOL). I used SU! Six Sided Sampler and CTMH Honeycomb Flair. I used the SU! Hexagon punch to get the pieces and the SU! decorative label for the sentiment punch out on the front.
Well, that's all for now, I am officially caught up on my blog posts! I hope you have enjoyed what I've shared and I hope I've given you some inspiration in one way or another.
Blessed Be

Sweet Hexagons
This is such a sweet and cute card that I made for our daughter. I know she'll love it. We just wanted to remind her, that even though we're adopting her, we love her just as if she was our own child.
For this card I used CTMH Honeycomb Flair and SU! Six Sided Sampler for stamping all the hexagons and the sentiment. I used the Honeycomb embossing folder to give it more depth.
This is the sentiment I put inside.
If you have a punch and any type of stamp that makes a background, you could make your own pieces for a card. I used the hexagon punch here, but you could also use the SU! Decorative Label punch, or a heart punch, or whatever.
Hope this gives you some inspiration.
Come back and check soon, I have lots more to share!

Flower and Butterfly Explosion! Card in a Box!
Here's another explosion card in a box that I made. These things are SO addicting to make. I've seen some that are SO elaborate that I can't even imagine how the creators got everything jam packed inside. But me, I like things a little less crowded and just 1 or 2 focal elements.
So, Here's another EXPLOSION Card in a Box!

Happy Hexagons, I mean Happy Birthday!
Our friend Cindy just recently had a birthday, and I wanted to share the card I made for her.
I knew I wanted to make her a card with the Stampin' Up! Six Sided Sampler set. She isn't very "girly", so I tried to come up with a card that wasn't girly either. sometimes, that's really difficult to do! I sat for HOURS, I'd say probably 2.5 to 3 hours looking through all my cardstock and paper trying to figure out what to make that would look cool with these stamps. Something pretty, but not too girly, but something cool but not masculine.
After a while I gave up and had to go to google for inspiration. I found a LOT of really cute, pretty, unique and cool cards. I wanted to take a 'simple' card that I found and spruce it up a little bit and make it a tad bit more fancy.
So, I ended up doing a CASE (Copy and Slightly Edit) of a card that I found. Click below for the deets, here is a sneak peek for now...
