Beautiful Wedding Greetings

A friend of ours just recently got married to her girlfriend. They've been together 20 years, so they got married on their 20th anniversary. How cool is that?

Here is a sneak peek at the card I made, click below to see the rest...

So this card was Pinterest inspired.
I love how this card turned out! On the bottom black I used an extra large flower stamp and stamped in versamark and then used clear embossing powder. I love how the flowers turned out, so pretty!
For the white I used the embossing folder of Dots.
For the sentiment I used SU! teeny tiny wishes and used 2 SU! punches to punch and layer the sentiment. I forgot to add the gems, so I added those post pictures, it looks so much better!

I hand created the flower after die cutting it from the Tim Holtz flower die. I used the medium sized flower, inked the edges and then rolled all the edges with my small paint brush. I rolled the bottom flower backwards and the inside flowers frontwards, so it made a great 3d flower! I used a heart brad in the middle. I used spellbinders flourishes that I die cut and added them under the flower so the top pieces can stick out. I used a pretty red grosgrain ribbon, it doesn't show well in pictures but it matches the red cardstock from the card base and the rose, PERFECTLY! I couldn't get it by the yard, so I just bought the whole roll, who knows I may need it again in the future. LOL

For the inside I just typed up this sentiment in Microsoft word and printed it the bottom corner of some cardstock so I could mat it in the size of the whole inside.

I am very happy with how this card turned out. I just need to mail this with their wedding gift (A spinning musical dolphin music box) They love dolphins, so hubby and I thought this pretty and that they would like it. We have good taste, I love that hubby helped pick it out! <3

Ok y'all that's it for this post. I am working on other posts as well, so check back often, I'll be working on LOTS of posts over the next few days! :)

Keep on Craftin'
