Sharing Joy

I make card candy, and I was making this one, after having made about 2 dozen of this kind, in all different colors (seriously, I had about 15 ink pads on my desk). While making this one I decided to stop making card candy for a bit and make a card.

The card candy is the sentiment with the butterfly attached to it (I made several different types, styles, shapes and sentiments of card candy, but this is the one I chose to work with for this card)

I used purple gems because I inked the edges of the larger piece in purple (the gems look blue, but they are purple, flash of camera changed their colors). For the punched border on the right I inked it's edges in light blue, because the butterfly is stamped in blue. I added some purple string to the side and it was done. I made this card fairly quickly, about 15 minutes I'd say.
 Here is a side pic.

With the sentiment from the front I thought this sentiment from Oliver Wendell Holmes fit perfectly for the inside.

So, that's this quick card (and post!) check back soon, I will have more to show!

Keep on Craftin'
