I had so much fun making these cards! Coloring was my favorite part, of course. I will color anytime I get a chance!
I made 8 of these cards in total. I made one batch for my customer, and then he ordered more cards, so I replicated 4 more, but a bit different in layout and embellishments. I could have made them the exact same, but how boring would that be?!
Here is a pic of all of the 1st set. I really love how these turned out.
All of the monks on all 8 cards are heat embossed in black and then I colored each one with SU! blender pen and SU! ink from the pads. I enjoyed coloring these images, each one a bit different in its shading.
I had fun picking and choosing which way and where to put the string.
I used real Chinese coins on 2 of the cards and then I stamped a Chinese coin on the metal charm and sealed it in by flooding the charm with Glossy Accents. This way, the ink doesn't rub off.
These 4 were from the 2nd batch of cards. I alternated the lay outs of the cards and string to give each card a little more pizzazz! I really enjoy the sentiment and I thought it goes very well with the concept of Buddhism, after all, Buddha did make the quote!
I put this on the inside of all 4 cards.
I hope you like these I think they turned out so beautiful.
Come back soon because I have much more to share!
