When I first started on my Mother's Day cards, I didn't have any stamps related to Mother's Day so the cards I started making were just "Thinking of You" cards. But before I could finish making all of the Mother's Day cards I needed to make my own Ma was nice and bought me 2 very lovely sets (cards with those sets will be shown in a few other posts).
Anyhow, I made 2 pretty thinking of you cards. I don't have any previews so you know what to do...
Both cards have the same layout but have very different colors.
For the doilies on these cards I used the SU! Doilies die cuts in glitter paper that I had on hand. You can't tell by the picture but it's so shimmery and pretty! I used the SU! Top Note die to cut out the blue cardstock.
The flower is from the SU! "Cottage Rose" set, I colored it with prismacolored pencils and blended with gamsol and then die cut it with the coordinating die. I used some yellow friendship thread to tie a perfect little bow and attached it with Glossy Accents. I also used some leftover diamonds from one of my diamond art kits.
The flower and the blue cardstock are both 3D, popped up with 3D foam squares and circles.
HERE'S THE 2nd CARD...
For this one I used pink glitter paper for the doily that I had already cut and on hand. I went with yellow cardstock for the Top Note die and a pretty blue flower.
That's all for these 2 cards, I hope you enjoyed them. Check back soon because I have a few other Mother's Day cards to share because I got a big order of cards from a friend, so I made a LOT!
Keep on Craftin'!
