A friend sent me a new SU! stamp set, Southern Serenade. I love this set! I ended up using it with SU! Birthday Blooms to make 3 lovely cards for some ladies...
I went with 3 different color pallets for these cards. I used SU! Tempting Turquoise, SU! Orchid Opulence and SU! Pixie Pink.
I started off with a simple piece of white cardstock and stamped the "lace" background stamp on all 3 sheets in my chosen colors. I then stamped the flowers in Ranger Jet Black over the lace background. After stamping "dear friend" I inked all the edges so the cardstock pops off the background. I matted the floral sentiment on top of some matching colored cardstock and used some bakers twine and embroidery floss to add a little extra flair with bows. The 2 mats were mounted on some decorative cardstock pieces and then mounted to the card base.
I think these cards turned out lovely, don't you? I'd love to hear your feedback, so drop me a comment, please?! Come back soon, I have a lot more to share with you.
Keep on Craftin'
