Sunflower Tilda

I pulled another Tilda stamp out of my bin and got to work coloring her. This card is 6 in. x 6 in. and it's jam packed with embellishments. These are my most extravagant cards that I make. They take a while to make and they take a lot of deco paper/cardstock  and embellishments, that's why these cards are my most expensive cards $6.50! click below to see her in all her glory!

 Isn't she ADORABLE?!
I die cut the SU! Top Note die and stamped her on it. I colored her with my prismacolored pencils and blended with gamsol. I then masked over her (used a 2nd Tilda that was fussy cut out and placed on top of her stamped image) so that I could stamp the sky and flower background and make it look like it was behind her. I colored the background with my prismacolored pencils and blended with gamsol.

I double stamped the sunflower, fussy cut it out and mounted it on top of the bottom layer sunflower with 3D foam tape. I then got to work on the background layers. I inked all the edges of each deco cardstock and each plain cardstock mat and added gems to the corners of them. I die cut the SU! Doily die and used my felt pad to ink the doily up just by inking the felt pad and going straight to cardstock. I did that because I didn't have the proper color of purple cardstock. So using my matching inkpads I can create any color doily I want.

I layered some silk flowers together and put mini brads in the middle. I ran some friendship bracelet string through  the top of the lace and laid that on top of all the mats. I was then able to permanently glue all the layers to the card base. I stamped the sentiment frame and then the sentiment and put 2 brads on it and then adhered it to the card base with 3D foam tape. It looks like it's attached with the brads, but it isn't.

Here is the card from the side, you can see the top 3 layers of the card in the flowers, the stamped image mat and the doily

I hope you liked this Tilda card, I love making them, but they take about an hour to make, depending on how much coloring I have to do to stamped images.

Please come back soon, I have more to share!
