2 Missed Cards--Holy Crap! (pun intended!)

wow, I can not believe I forgot to post these 2 cards!!
Hubby and I celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary this past March 18, 2014. WOOO HOOOO. We've been together 18 long years!!

Every year I try and come up with a better card or item to make him, than the previous year, and he said this year, I came up with the BEST card ever, and he doesn't know how I'll ever top it!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT???? he said it's the BEST CARD EVER!!!!

Here's a sneak peek, click below to see the full card, I promise you don't wanna miss it, it's super!!

Thanks for clicking to see the rest of the card. Here it is!!!

OMGosh, I really enjoyed making this card, and I LOVED the look on hubby's face when he opened the envie, pulled it out and turned it over to read it. he had the biggest smile ever!

the "shitballs" thing is an inside joke with us, I used to say it a lot when i was younger.
So when I found this stamp at my local stamp store, Viva Las Vegastamps I HAD TO GET IT!!! I didn't care if I had to pay $20, this stamp was going to be MINE!!!! LOL thankfully, it was REALLY CHEAP. as in, only $1.00 cheap, in their dollar bin! OMGosh, I could have fainted. I found the perfect stamp, and for the least amount of money.

I haven't used this stamp on anything else yet, mainly because I don't want to offend anyone, but really, all my friends and family who I make cards for knows I cuss like a sailor. LMAO! (though I DO know when to be reserved and lady like ;) LOL)

anyhow, back to the card... here is a nice side view of it... it's got some real dimension to it!

I used the sentiment stamp and I punched it out with the SU! Curly Label punch. I inked the edges of the sentiment to make sure it didn't blend in with the background tag. I popped it up with foam pop squares.
I used some hemp twine on the top of the tag after inking the edges of it as well. On the left side you can see where I used 2 eyelets and a rivet eyelet as well.

The bottom of the tag has a toilet paper roll with 2 hearts, it's called "crappy day" this stamp is from Unity Stamp Co. Itty Bitty line.
after stamping it on the tag, I put 3 eyelets and ran some hemp twine through it to wrap around the top 2 layers of the card.

The brown stuff on the bottom layer is some type of crepe paper like packing material. It is thick like crepe paper, but FEELS like soft toilet paper. I got this from my dad's tool shop, some items came packed in it. I find all kinds of cool stuff I can use on projects at his shop. But this was a GREAT find. :)

For the inside of the card I inked up the edges real good and then stamped the "i love you" sentiment from the K&Company Amy Butler "Lotus Greetings" stamp set.

Well, that's it for that crappy card! HAHAHA ;) what did you think? Please leave me a comment and let me know. :)

Oh, yeah, here is one more card. I wanted to do something that was more "sweet" than "humorous"...

For this lovey dovey card I used the 2 lovebirds and the sentiment from the Fiskars "Sweetheart" set.
I didn't like how close the heart was to the birds heads, so I cut it off... the heart, not their heads ;) LOL
I just made it to be its own individual stamp so I could place where ever I wanted.

the birds are sitting on stripped washi tape, I got this for $1.00 at dollar tree! Actually, My mom's $$$ got them for me, 15 whole rolls of them in different themes. :) THANKS MA!!! LOL
I love the sentiment that came with this Fiskars set. I ALWAYS tell hubby these exact words, so when i saw this set on sale at Joann's for $2.99, yes, just $2.99, I HAD to get it. I used the arrows from the CTMH "It's Your Day Constant Campaign".
On the inside I used the "i love you" from the K&Company Amy Butler "Lotus Greeting" stamp set.

I think this card came out super cute, too. :) I hope you enjoyed looking, I really love sharing my crafts with everyone. Thank you for coming to see me, and please leave a comment!
