Flowers for You

I love making cards with flowers, they can made for any occasion. This card is a Hello card I made for a friend. When she got it she messaged me right away and thanked me. She said she was having a bad day, and that the card really made her smile that day.

A friend sent me the flower image with some other flower images. I went flower crazy and colored a bunch with my watercolor markers--including this one. I love how the flowers came out. Because I did so many flower colors I was really open to use any color papers for the background. I chose purple and orange paper and dark purple string

I layered purple and dark pink butterflies and yellow and teal butterflies. I put a small gem in the middle of each just to add some bling to the card.

I used one very, very long piece of string to make the 3w decoration (I don't know what else to call it, it looks like a W so that's what I call it, a 3w) and I used a rub on Hello and that brought the front of the card together!
