Here is a card that I made for my mom. I hope she likes it.
I sketched this card out on paper before I made it. I had a lot of fun making this card. It did give me some challenges, but I worked through them and got this card to be very beautiful.
I stamped the sentiment and then cut it out with the matching die shape. I love how it came out. I had to do some masking so that I could get the outline one color and the sentiment another. Easily done with most stamps, but with me, I ended up masking it off and then stamping it on the cardstock, i.e. I forgot to take the tape off. LOL
I knew I had to put flowers and gems on this card. It wouldn't be near as pretty without them!!
I also inked all the edges. My hands got super inky on this card because I inked the edges of EVERY layer. I don't mind getting inky, I love it. It reminds me that I'm making something for someone special and my inkyness is just the frosting on the cake!
here's a close up of the sentiment and pretty flowers. And yes, I inked up the flowers to the colors I needed. inky, inky, inky!!
