I made this pretty card for my friend Geneva. She lives in Ohio and I live in Vermont, that's quite a long ways away.
Here's the card. I colored her state blue and my state pink.I inked the whole U.S. in pink.
I did a double mat with the Stampin' Up! Top Note die and added the mats over some pretty flower paper with a little bit of string at the top.
I used gems in the top and bottom left of the card. I added some pretty layered flowers to the bottom.
Here is the inside of the card. Sending Smiles Across the Miles. I stamped that sentiment and added some pretty pink burlap at the bottom.
Well, that's how I made this card. I hope you enjoy it and that it inspires you.
