My Ma just had a birthday in April so I wanted to use my new SU! "Cottage Rose" stamp and die set to make her a pretty flowery card.
Here's a sneak peek, you know what to do to see the whole card...
I absolutely LOVE how this card came out! I watercolored the flowers and leaves. There is some highlighting to all the flowers and leaves, but my lighting is horrible so it's not really that visible. But I assure you, they came out beautiful.
I heat embossed the sentiment from the SU! "Birthday Blooms" stamp set and then slid it under the 3D flowers. I used some of those tiny diamonds from the Diamond Art kits, I had some left over from a few kits so I decided to go with adding them to some cards in place of gems or pearls to see how they'd work out, and I think they work out FAB! I have some other cards that I'll be posting that I used them on.
I put 1 white one in each of the corners, gives it the look of something holding the sentiment rectangle down. I added a few more here and there that match the colors of the flowers just to give some added flare to the card.
I hope you enjoyed this card, I had a lot of fun making it and figuring out the arrangements for the flowers, sometimes, figuring out layouts is my favorite part of making a card!
Check back soon, I have more to share with you.
Keep on Craftin'!
