I was thinking of a friend one day who'd just gotten over an 8 month long haul of covid and wanted to make her a card. I was having such trouble coming up with deisgns and I wasn't sure if I wanted to color some flowers or not, and decided to do something different than I've done with the SU! Birthday Blooms stamp set. I made a SET OF 4 cards, all same layout but different colors.
Here's a sneak peek...
Here is the 1st of the 4 cards. I went with a purple/burgundy and teal color theme on this one. All of the flowers are heat embossed as is the sentiment.
I used a border punch to make the sentiment square and after inking the edges I added some pearls and a gem. I used a mixture of 2 ribbons and shimmery silver embroidery floss to add some beauty and flare to the sentiment square. After all the glue dried I added it to the card with some 3D foam pop up tape.
Below are the other 3 cards I made, just different colors, 2 with gold heat embossing and embellishments and another silver.
So, that's all for this set of 4, I hope that I've inspired you to create a different type of card with your flower stamps, trying different things can most often turn out to be the most beautiful of ideas.
Come back soon and check out what else I have to share!
Keep on Craftin'!
