Flowers, for you

 A friend had a birthday and I wanted to make something with flowers, but something a little different than I usually make. Here's a sneak peek, but you know what to do to see the rest of the card.

This card was hard to get a good picture of because the pink frame is shimmer cardstock, the paper inside the frame is gold foil paper and the flowers are heat embossed in shimmer gold.

I used the SU! Top Note die to cut out the frame on the shimmer cardstock and cut the gold foil paper to fit behind the frame. 

For the sentiment outside I just made a simple flag and tied some bakers twine around it and then frayed the edges of the twine after tying it in a double knot.

So here for the flowers is what I heat embossed in shimmer gold. I then water colored the whole set of flowers and leaves with SU! ink an my SU! blender pen. I think they came out lovely.
