Magical Birthday-Card in a box

One of our nieces recently turned 1. I wanted to make her a card so cute that she'd cherish it forever and my SIL could put it in her memory chest so she would be able to see it when she was older and could appreciate it. This card contains so much cuteness and it's a card in a box so it's got a lot of elements to it.
There are a few pics of this card, so you know what to do in order to see it...
I made this card in a box to have 3 layers from front to back, and then the back flap of the card can act as a 4th layer to attach elements to.

I think this is one of the cutest cards I've made in a long time, and I had a lot of fun making it and putting all the layers together.
All of the stamped images I colored with prismacolored pencils and blended with gamsol and then die cut with the stamp sets matching dies.

The rainbow is made from shimmer cardstock, so though not really visible here, it shimmers so beautifully. I used a silver glitter pen on the unicorns horns

Each side of the box has something on it, even if it just a simple shooting star.

I used both heart and star paper to decorate the outside underneath flaps of the box. I alternated each flap and side of the box with which paper I used so no 2 sides were the same.

I used gold stickles glitter glue on all of the shooting stars to give the card more sparkle.

Barely visible in the pics, but all of the clouds are lined with diamond stickles so each of the clouds have a sparkle and shine to them too. I had to give the unicorn a cake to hold so I snipped between her hooves and slid the cake in and used a dab of Glossy Accents to make sure it held strong with the glue.

This is the very back of the box, this is where I wrote the personal message.

I hope you liked this card, I think it turned out adorable and I'm glad that our niece will have something to put in her memory chest for when she gets older.

If you enjoyed this card, please check back soon, I have more to share. I'm almost caught up on all the postings I need to make to get caught up on this years (2023) cards that I've made.

Keep on Craftin'!
